It is made nearly in every house in winter. Everybody knows that artichoke is a very essential vegetable for our body esspecially for the liver. After we shell and boil it a little, we put portions of meat, that we cooked before, in them .
we cook them together for a while and serve it hot.

Konya Hurma (Dates)
Since Konya is considered a more religious city, you will see several shops devoted to selling just dates or dates and candy. Dates are the fruit with which the Prophet Mohammed used to break his fasts.In addition to tasting great, dates contain protein, vitamins, and minerals. They are also
high in polyphenols,alternative to empty-calorie sweets,high in fiber,
high in potassium and great for substitutions.
 
AYDIN'S PAŞA BÖREĞİ
Especially before Ramadan, women come together in houses and make lots of sheets of dough that is made of egss and flour and they fry it. They cook these sheets in broth and put cooked mince in every layers of sheet. 4 or 5 layers can be enough for the meal. then we serve it with yoghurt. Yummy :)

It is really delicious and nutritıous dish. Yuvarlama is made on special days and weddings in Aydın.
We make small meatballs and fry them in oil. Then we cook them with chickpeas and serve with yoghurt

Konya Etli Ekmek/Traditional Dish
It is a local and larger variation of the traditional Turkish lahmacun.Flat bread is baked with ground meat, tomatoes, peppers and onion. Konya is popular with its Etli Ekmek.People love eating it and usually have it.
